Takom FV432 Converted To FV432/30
For those who don't know, the FV432/30 was an FV432 converted by adding the turret from the Fox. A lot of people think that it was a Scimitar turret, but that is in fact wrong. The base kit is the Takom FV432 Mk2/1, with the Accurate Armour FV432/30 conversion set. The worst aspect of the Takom kit is the running gear. It doesn't go together very well and was out of alignment, even when using the jig that is provided. As for the tracks, they look good, but all seem to have commented on the bad fit. So I've bought a Masterclub replacement set. As you can see, this is another in the Berlin Bde scheme. That is because that was where the /30 was first deployed. Later they were redeployed to BAOR. As far as I know, they are all out of service now.

Again, many thanks Spiros. The conversion is great, but if you're going to do the FV432, then the worst part of the kit is the suspension and running gear, it hasn't gone together well and I've a lot of work to do on it yet...

Interesting series, Ian and great paint work. That urban camo requires some careful work with the masks - especially getting around the curves of some components. Aftermarket tracks will be a bonus. I've really come to appreciate the look of these myself - often worth the cost for the effect.
Definitely, Accurate Armour in Scotland do excellent sets of conversion kits for the Takom FV432. Takom updated the moulds to produce the Bulldog, but they are going to do another production run of the original kit. I'm hoping to get another 3 so I can do different variants.
