Last photo shows my current mustang on the left, and my 2years old mustang that got me back to this hobby. Enjoy 😉

Beautiful,both of them!Congrats Adam.
Nice work Adam. The both look good - I really like "Rotation Blues".
Interesting to note "Pete 2nd" and the way we all got "snookered" until recently about that airplane. (I only became aware of this by writing a book on the 8th AF). That score on Petie 2nd actually belongs on "Petie 3rd" (an airplane only discovered photographically when the only known photo was found in the effects of Meyer's crew chief after he died a few years back). Meyer actually shot down no airplanes while flying this airplane between August-mid-November, so it should only have a score of 11 on it. The other 13 victories were all scored in Petie 3rd, between November 25 1944-January 1 1945 (a good indication of just how "hot" things were in December 1944). The fact both Petie's look so similar may also have faked out researchers.
Here's Petie 3rd, only distinguishable by the serial number (and the fact it's in the new darker blue the 352nd adopted in November) and the black-only "D-Day" ID stripes.
Eduard caught this a couple years back with their "P-51 aces" release of their kit - 82102 - which has just been re-released a couple months ago.
Really nice one, Adam @adamlanguh
Also the older one looks great.
Amazing result, Adam!
And an added bonus is Tom's @tcinla short story!
Very nice finish on this aircraft and I like seeing the stencils in the cockpit. I like the Airfix 1/48th P-51Ds a lot.
This is really great work Adam. Thanks for sharing! What did you use for the natural metal finish?
Gunze super chrome silver II and GX100 gloss, it smells really bad but the finish look is interesting.
Both of those Mustangs are beautifully built and painted. Excellent work!
I can piggyback on Jay's comments, Adam (@adamlanguh). Both models are really nice, the NMF is outstanding.
Great paintwork, Adam!
Beautifully done ponies!
