Hellcat Mk1 Eduard 1/48
This is the second of my Hellcats ,this one a Mk1 flown from HMS Emperor helping to cover the Normandy landings hence the super cool invasion stripes and then was involved in operation 'Dragoon' ,the allied invasion of southern France.
As with my other Hellcat I used aftermarket resin wheels for a bit of extra detail and the stencil sheet that didn't come with the kit.
I had no difficulty with assembly as you would expect from Eduard and can highly recommend these kits .
Hellcats with D-Day stripes - always cool.
Thanks for looking , yeah those stripes always look cool whatever there on.
Cheers.
P.S how about un-muting me ? 🙂
Fantastic, Neil! No doubt the Eduard kit is comprehensive, but it takes your skills to come up with such a wonderful result!

That’s a helluva cool cat, Neil, love this colour scheme as well. By the way, I’ve been muted by Top Cat as well, must be because we’re British.
Glad you enjoyed the scheme I chose , nice to hear from you.
