Supermarine Spitfire, Tamiya, 1:48

October 25, 2022 · in Aviation · · 10 · 0.9K

Hello, I would like to show my latest work. It's famous Supermarine Mk.1 from Battle of Britain from 1940 year. I like the shape of this plane. Very elegant and agressive. I think painting of pilot is good positive and camouflage. The weathering not so good. I hope you like this famous british fighter.

Personally I like these early Spits the most and your build clearly proves why.
The paintwork on the pilot is superb.
    Well done.

  4. Great build and finish. Normally, not a fan of pilot figures, however yours looks fantastic and clearly belongs in that seat. Super.

  5. Nicely done, Marcin.

  6. Nice work, this a great looking Spitfire!

  7. Spitfires didn't last long enough in the Battle of Britain to get a little weathered, let alone a lot. Your model looks fine. Really nice work on this and a great result. The pilot figure is really excellent.

  8. Good work on this popular kit, especially the pilot.

  9. Looks great - and as others have said - the pilot looks fantastic! (I put pilots in all my builds)
