Matchbox 1/72 Mosquito Mk 30 (PK-116)

December 9, 2023 · in Aviation · · 14 · 343

This is the built up as a nightfighter. It is built out of the box with the only addition being the vac-form canopy from Falcon. The kit took several applications of putty and primer to get the finish I wanted. I painted it with Tamiya and Mr Color paints. The kit fits well although; but, I did not attach the landing gear per the instructions and I had problems putting it on. I used the kit decals and the canopy is framed with decal strips. It's the first Mossie I've built since 1970, so I'm happy with it.
