Revell 1/32 Spitfire II
A good model by Revell. However, it requires plenty of aftermarket accessories to make it an accurate representation of the Spitfire II. Nonetheless, it is an economic and easy build of an early mark Spitfire that blends well with late mark Spitfires or other iconic WWII era models on the display shelf.

On average, I spend about an hour a day on models. Most of my posts include old models.
Many more to come (but I leave out the AFVs because it seems that they generate less interest here.)
Like the models, photography is a hobby, mostly wildlife.
Amazing weathering. I'm not good at it and some I see is overdone. This looks like the real thing. Well done.

Since the model is not quite an accurate representation of the Spitfire, I applied excess weathering to the bottom for the benefit of future and more accurate Spitfire models.

I usually, avoid aftermarket accessories except decals. It helps to focus on the painting stage.

Revell had a considerable economic advantage if one seeks to be impressed by size without caring much for the intricate details.
