Meng 1/35 Magach 6B Gal
From the outset, Meng's "Magach" (rampage) 6B is a promising kit. A detailed kit of the Israeli adaptation to the M60A1 with enhanced armor to meet increasing threats in the battle field.
The fit of parts is very good and the overall look depicts well the M60A's features. Yet there are there are three building hurdles to cope with, The first is the track design. Tracks are semi-workable meaning with separate links, but only one side receives the joining pins. It could have worked if the plastic was not soft. Second, the mold color is off white. A very odd choice for an AFV model that is difficult to overpaint. Third, the crew basket at the rear of the turret is bare. Operational IDF tanks have their baskets covered with canvas.
