Miniart 1/48 P-47D-30RE THUNDERBOLT

June 13, 2024 · in Aviation · · 24 · 328

MiniArt's first fixed-wing aircraft kit, the P-47D, was produced.
The reproduction of this kit was excellent, and even the basic version was wonderfully complete.

This time, the parts where we were concerned about the strength were replaced with metal materials for assembly, but the overall details are finished as is in the kit.

  1. Stunning model, it certainly captures the look of the Jug quite well.
If they come around to release a razorback model I’ll be building it 🙂

    • Thank you, based on past examples from Miniart, I believe the P47 will be released in many specifications, and I look forward to seeing more in the future.

  8. That's one outstanding looking Jug, dagored (@dagored). Everything looks spot on. I know from experience MiniArt kits can be a real bear to put together with all the intricate details, but it looks like you sailed right through without any hang ups. It will be interesting to see what they choose for their next 1/48 adventure.

    • I am always amazed at the precision with which MiniArt's kits are reproduced. This product was wonderful and easier to assemble and finish than expected.
