Hasegawa RF-4E 1/48 Phantom II: Final Year 2020
The commemoration of the long service of the Phabolous adds another colorful dimension to the 'Sea Camouflage' attractive scheme of Japan's RF-4E.
I enhanced the basic mold of the ejection seats and used DXM decals for the specialized Final Year scheme.
That is one beautiful bird !
Thank you Dan!
This is an impressive Phantom, Rafi @blackmopane
The scheme is very attractive and like all those Japanese Phantoms, covered with stencils.
Thank you John!
Really nice work. I love the paint scheme.
Thank you Tom.
Gorgeous, beautiful finish on that Phantom - Excellent work dude!
Thank you Ramon!
Man, that is a great scheme and a great build!
Thank you Rob!
Excellent job, Rafi!
Painting and weathering are superb!
Thank you Spiros!
Sharp JSDF recce scheme and build!
Thank you Dan!
This is such a great looking scheme...even with so many Phantoms being shared, this one stands out.
Thank you Marcello,
This was my final Phantom😉
I love the JASDF Phantoms - so many cool schemes and states of weathering to choose from. My only JASDF build so far is in this Ocean Blue scheme, and I think it is one of the prettiest Phantom schemes (if one can use such an adjective for the "Rhino!"). Beautiful paint and weathering work on this, as usual.
There were other JASDF schemes that I wanted to paint, but the costs...
Yet, I built two of the Ocean camouflage scheme that I think is the nicest.
