Classic Resin 1/48 Messerschmitt Me-309v2
A mid WWII project aimed to replace the Bf 109. Four prototypes were produced. The development of prototypes was plagued with problems. In the end, the performance of aircraft did not fulfill the expectations and the project was abandoned.
Classic Resin's Me 309 looks like the photographed prototypes but, is a difficult build. Moreover, the canopy is a vacuform cast and opaque.

I always thought this kit brought its own unique definition to the term "difficult kit." Major kudos to you that your kit didn't end up where mine did. A triumph of stubbornness and talent over stuff that should never have seen the light of day. The only thing I can think of worse than this kit was the Czech Model attempt.
