I can only imagine what building this was like. Well, done, Rafi.
Thank you, John. No need to imagine. There are enough reviews of the kit to describe the horrors. But, the dimensions of the model seem OK.
Brave man! TOp notch work as usual!
Storytime...I built one for a commission when it came out ...I did not want to complete it BUT I had too!. IT is a horror show for fit [not to mention the clear pieces!] BUT yes the dimensions arent bad and it does have the bones to build the type.
Steve
Thank you, Steven! My friend gave up the build because the transparent nose was cramped...
Spectacular result from the very challenging FM kit, Rafi! Congratulations!
Thank you, Spiros! Yours, also turn out great!
Thanks my friend @blackmopane!
With friends with kits like FM you don't need enemies!
Everybody who finishes a FM kit deserves a medal.
Thank you, Michiel. Absolutely!
Great looking build, despite what you started with!
Thank you, Greg!
Beautiful job Rafi. I haven't heard of this manufacture before. Are all there kits a difficult as everyone says this kit is?
Thank you, Clint. They are, but some like the Vautour and the Halifax are the only game in town, still.
I don't know what you did to your friend to get this gift, but I'd be questioning the friendship after getting this kit.
Excellent build.
Thank you, Dan. The kit was hidden in the bottom of a stack of old kits that my friend wanted to have them built. So, I did the lot.
Looks beautiful. Great post on a difficult subject.
Thank you, Bob.
But there's such a feeling of accomplishment at the end - like when you stopped banging your head against that brick wall. 🙂
This is mine.

In the end, when I see your excellent build (although not quite the correct colors) Tom, I crave for another Vautour build.
Glad you were able to finish your friend's gift, Rafi @blackmopane It really looks beautiful in the end. You definitely won this battle.
Thank you, John.
The build, paint and photography are all top notch. The pilot’s canopy looks appropriately thin and clear. Is it a vac replacement?
Thank you Russell. All original transparent parts are vac and need modifications.
Such a difficult kit… Bravo! When will a decent brand produce a modern kit of this beautiful bird ?…
Thank you, Stephane! I hope, soon.
A rare bird, done so well! đź‘Ź Very nice work, Rafi @blackmopane!
Thank you, Gary!
Great job. I so wish another manufacturer would do a 1/48 Vautour kit.
