Dragon 1/48 Messerschmitt Me 163S Habicht

December 19, 2024 · in Aviation · · 8 · 142

The two seater version of the revolutionary rocket fighter. Only one aircraft of the Me 163S is known to have undergone experiments in the Soviet hands. The latter was extensively photographed and I am sure that this had helped Trimaster/ designers to form this lovely model.

the Scheuch-Schlepper added was used to tow the rocket fighter, but unlike presented here the arms were deployed for after landing events when the wheel dolly was gone.

  1. Superb result, Rafi! Love the model's looks! The single seater Me-163 looks exotic enough, so, what can be said for the double seater which looks almost surreal! The platform loos excellent, too!

  2. Very impressive build, Rafi @blackmopane
I was not even aware of a two-seat variant of this aircraft, very interesting.

  3. Nicely done! Love seeing a 2-seat version of this (didn't know they had one), and the schlepper is a nice add.

  4. Very nice. I have to wonder about the necessity of a 2-seater. Instruction? Joy rides? Interesting.
