Kawasaki Z1300 Engine, Tamiya 1/6th
I have had my eye in theirs kit for awhile now, price was right so I grabbed it. Was fairly simple but that may have been because I had built 2 of them for the 1/6th bikes one of which was the weathered touring bike
It was a fun kit but went together to quick, 3 days all in. I tried to add some color to it but it didn't turn out like I had envisioned. I'm still struggling with things so it was a good diversion.
I also wanted to thank everyone for the comments on my Honda Cub, apologies for not answering all of you.
I have the Honda 500 Turbo engine coming in, should be here Monday, we are under a winter storm warning, with 3 inches of snow so farโฆ.kinda fun, but it won't be tomorrow ๐
So here it is , enjoy and thanks for viewing
Beautiful presentation, Cricket! ๐ That beast of an engine looks great to me! ๐
@garybrantley Thank you Gary! Busy hands are happy hands ๐
I love it! It's these parts in a motorcycle kit that make them so cool in my opinion, because it shows the mechanical glory of these bikes. This kit is a cool display presentation, reminding me of engineering diagrams or cutaway displays... like something Kawasaki would have shared with the press when this bike was released, showing off that vast row of cylinders and the nice shaft drivetrain. Very clean work, and thanks for sharing!
@pb_legend thank you Andrew, I thought it would be more detailed thatโs that and I tried to do it but thats as good as I got ๐
It makes a great display piece in this scale, Cricket, nice work.
@chinesegeorge Thanks George, Iโm reasonably happy with it.
What a wonderful model, Cricket!
Makes an awesome display!
Congratulations!
Keep them coming!
@fiveten Thank you Spiros, it was a fun build, a good diversion trying to get back into the swing of things.
That's a great looking engine, Cricket @bikequeen
Must be an amazing experience to ride a bike with a six cylinder engine.
@johnb Thanks John. I canโt imagine riding something like that. Itโs the engine that is on these bikes I built
