Thanks Again, iModeler!
Hello! Last year I won the random drawing for May, and the new tooling BF-109e-4 by Airfix was my prize. I didn't just want to take a prize and have it sit in my stash because that would seem a bit ungrateful, so as soon as I could, I got started on it and chipped away at it, little by little. End result is as posted. It was a fun kit to build, and a fun kit to paint with my new SOTAR 20/20. I could still use a bit more practice with it, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Here it is displayed on a base made by my 9 year old son (who also has a passion for this hobby!)
Thanks again iModeler!
Cheers!
-Ramon
Beautifully finished and photographed, Ramon (I especially like the belly shot - exquisite detailing work) - and kudos to your son on that base...nice job. I see you used EZ-line for the antenna wire [ works pretty good, don't it ] 🙂
Thanks Craig! yeah, that EZ line is pretty cool! I highly recommend it! 🙂
Excellent Emil. Well done!
thanks! 🙂
Very cool indeed to see this built, and you've done a commendable job especially with such a complex camouflage scheme!
Thank you Sir! 🙂
very nice work - great finish and tone on the camo
Thanks David! 🙂
Nice work there Ramon, your son has got some talent there too, nice base.
Well done mate.
Thanks Simon! My son LOVES building models and dioramas, and he scratchbuilds way more than i ever had the nerve or ambition to, even now! I am vert proud of my boy 🙂
Good job all round there, Ramon, it's nice to see a prize being built and displayed in such a great way.
Thanks George! 🙂
Nicely done, Ramon. I don't recognise the markings per se, but it looks like it ticks all the '109 boxes'.
Thanks Rob! 🙂
Excellent work Ramon, really convincing build and finish. I like the overall tone you've achieved, looks very much 'to scale'.
Thank you Mike! 🙂
very well done
Thank you Bob! 🙂
