Great job on the Hurricane! I like the shading and weathering - not overdone but creates nice visual interest.
Beautifully finished and photographed, sir...great job all around!
Astoundingly beautiful! Well done.
Very nice.
Very nice model. As usual. Fine work and a great result.
However...
The Eagle Squadrons were 71, 121, and 133 Squadrons. 71 was formed at the end of October, with Brewster Buffalos, which were replaced two weeks later in November by Hurricanes. They finally flew their first mission in March 1941. 121 was formed in the spring of 1941, with 133 formed after that.
It may be that the pilot mentioned is an American, but whoever did the research claiming 151 as an "Eagle Squadron" must not have been able to qualify for employment at Errormaster.
Don't take the critique of the decal research as any complaint about the excellent model, but do beware that a decal instruction sheet can say anything, some of which may actually be true.
Notwithstanding Tom's erudite comments and corrective observations re the decal research, this is a very good looking model.
That's what I said! 🙂
🙂 ... Greetings ... 🙂 :
Very nice Hurricane, not too heavy on the weathering and the photography is a good attribute.
Very very nice. 🙂
nice build
Cracking job!
