Darren...Another fantastic example of your fine work. You sure have the T-Bolt down to a fine art. Those two must look great sitting next to each other.
Looks like a very nice work on the NMF with this semi-matte finish. I have a reflection, though. When highlighting some of the panels in different shade of NMF, would you always apply this effect symmetrically (meaning the same panels get darkened on both wings such as here) or more "randomly"? Never made up my mind which of the alternatives looks better. Any advice?
I do not like the patchwork look, a few panels with slight variation is my preference. The darker panels on Super Rabbit are little darker than I would normally do. I usually overspray the darker panels with base coat to soften them. I am still experimenting with effects, though my system works for me and I like the finished product. I actually prefer NMF as you must spend time cleaning up everything to get a clean finish, the NMF will show any seams or joins not 100% OK. Micromesh and me are best friends! Thanks Darren
very nice Darren, Great NMF.
Really nice. Noticed the date 1950 on the starboard cowling. Interesting...
Very nice work. P-47 is one of my favourite fighters
