Scale model builder for the past 40 years, albeit on and off until the past decade or so. I primarily focus on armor, although I have recently moved over some time into aircraft. I'm more focused on painting than building. However, I am working on my scratch skills and hope to learn a lot here.
My primary focus is on subjects of WW2 armor of the German Army. I have done the occasional Allied subjects, but I get bored of painting green.
Hey Everyone,
It's been awhile since I posted anything new. I tend to slow down in summer and reboot, however I did a repaint on Tamiya's classic Panzer III L in 1.35 scale in an albeit custom paint and decal display. I really just [...]
Another fantastic kit from Tamiya. A joy to build, especially the tracks. Totally OTB and nothing added except many, many (many) hours and sessions of weathering and layering. I threw lots and lots of stuff at this beast. Pigments, [...]
Hey all. This is a great little kit from Takom. It's all done OTB and really doesn't require much upgrades. Relatively simple build for a Panzer III and lots of decal and paint options if you like a P3 with schertzen. I made a small [...]
This is a great kit by Trumpeter and the only soviet armor I've ever done in my 40+ years of modeling. I actually finished it years ago, but it was just green, flat and boring. I came back this week and decided to add a light whitewash [...]

Hey everyone.
I've been working on this model here and there for over a year now. Most of you have probably guessed that I usually do German WW2 armor, so I decided to try something different and did the 1/16 Easy Eight from Andy's Hobby [...]
Hey Everyone.
As you may recall, I have been trying to challenge myself more with attempting more plane models and getting myself out of my armored comfort zone. I started with the Wurger, then onto the Corsair and now I've tried riding [...]
Hey everyone.
This is an oldie but goodie, the Tamiya Tiger 1 Mid Production. My first Tiger I ever did. I have repainted it probably 4-5 times as it became my paint mule and practice slab for many techniques over the years.
This was my [...]
Hey everyone.
If you've read my "Why I Hate Building Airplanes" post (below), you know I have a love hate relationship with modeling aircraft. However, in an attempt to keep my challenge going after the FW190 and Corsair, I [...]
Hey everyone.
I'm posting my recent pics of the RFM TIGER 1 Initial Production, Leningrad 1943. The RFM kit is just excellent! I think maybe RFM makes some of the best kits on the market today. So clean and crisp with excellent [...]
