Main interests are post war soviet/russian aviation, naval aviation, IRIAF, weird looking aircraft, modern naval forces...

Other hobbies include photography, traveling, mountain biking, music journalism (rockline.si) and a bunch of other stuff

Sairena the divine archer

A couple of years ago, I have challenged myself to start building or better said painting figures. Working with paintbrushes, acrylics, wet pallets and whatnot, makes me a better modeller overall I think. And it is such a different beast [...]

Su-35S 'Flanker-E'

Su-35S ‘Flanker-E’ is the latest and very likely last version of the formidable Flanker series. It is not to be confused with the Su-35 of the late ’80s, which was the first to be designated Su-35 (aka Su-27M and T-10M). The first [...]

MiG-21SM 'Fishbed-J'; Azerbaijani Air Force; Eduard 1:72

There’s hardly anything more to be said about the MiG-21. And the same goes for the excellent line of Eduard kits in 1:72. So let’s talk a little bit about the Azerbaijani MiG-21s. I have found about this, rather obscure subject, when [...]

Spitfire Mk.II Aces High

I don't normally build ww2 era planes and even rarer you can find 1:32 subject on my desk. But having Revell release this kit about 6 months before my good friend's birthday, who is (surprise surprise) a huge Maiden fan, the ever present [...]

Ilyushin Il-102; A&A Models 1:72

During the World War 2, Ilyushins flying tank design, the Il-2 “Sturmovik”, became a legend over the battlefields of Eastern Europe, similar to what the A-10 is now to the US troops on ground. Feared by Germans and cheered by Soviet [...]

MiG Group Build recap

First, I would like to thank all the participants to this group build, wheter you finished your builds or not. I must admit, I expected slightly larger participation but I am nevertheless proud of the resulting builds and I hope our group [...]
