I grew up like most of us with a passion for aviation mainly WW2 bombers and fighters I would build them paint them in a day then crash them while playing they didn't last very long
my dad would take me to the airshows in the 1980s and to model radio controlled events we got into building RC models and flew them at our local club I remember we had a beautiful Ben Buckle high wing slow flyer originally designed for free flight it was a joy to fly we had a spitfire and quarter scale Fokker high wing no idea which fighter it was
now as an adult I was lucky to find myself involved with Fighter Collection at Duxford during the 2000's I was part of the team on the restoration of Beufighter and given the P51 Mustang Princess Elizabeth to look after my duties included sitting in cockpit and playing keeping her clean and on airshow days and practice flights I would be out on the flight line starting engines on the cart and keeping out the way of the spinny thing at the front I had the joy of showing visitors around her and other aircraft and got to meet some fantastic people vets and family and owners of other aircraft and people wanting to build Mustangs of which two new blue nosed mustang were born state side
I've now been making models again for only few years but it has only been this year 2023 that I have invested in few airbrushes compressor and really gone for it totally enjoy it my other passion is history of WW2 fighter groups in 8th airforce again I been very lucky to have meet my share of authors that I now call friends

I work in the music industry making music for use in TV and Film but I started out as a DJ before moving into productions and making my own records 30 years later I find my self still sitting in a recording studio as excited as I ever was I've had a lucky life
