Unfortunately life has taken away a lot of the time I have for modelling but I'm still here trying to slowly chip away at projects. In the week I learn how to fix the real things and then at the weekends I try put the plastic versions together. Hoping to get a collection of Corsairs done, representing one from each nation that used it as well as each version available to build.
I've always loved the Corsair, particularly the mid-war four-tone scheme, and last year I built my first one which was Tom Blackburn's 'Big Hog'. A year later I wanted to do a new Corsair because I felt my skills had improved and I wanted [...]
The need for speed finally hit me and I decided to work on jet subject, today its the Tamiya F-14A kit modified into an F-14B of sorts. As far as I'm concerned this is among the best kits out there in the world of modelling, great details, [...]
I thought I'd finally get around to posting this Corsair I built last year, making it so all my Corsairs are uploaded here in one form or another. This model in particular taught me a lot and I am planning on basically remaking it (but as [...]
Afternoon folks, here's another older build and another Corsair, this time it was my first attempt at trying to handle the ANA 623 Sea Blue.

The first of many Tamiya Corsairs I did was this one, built alongside an F4U-1D. I started this back in April last year and completed in just 3 weeks, which is a record for me but that is largely due to having plenty of time off due to [...]
The most iconic Japanese aircraft is easily the Mitsubishi A6M, and Tamiya's most recent tooling from 2008 absolutely does justice to such a plane. Before going any further this kit can be summed up as 'absolutely recommended', or 'one of [...]
Seeing certain aircraft sometimes brings back a memory, for me the N1K2 reminds me of playing Combat Flight Simulator 2 when I was 8 years old, I always thought of it as the 'fat Japanese plane with the big guns and the cool cockpit'. [...]
My first build of 2021 was this brightly coloured Fokker D.VII, this was also my first and so far only subject from the First World War. This particular one was based on Fantasy of Flight's D.VII and was a Christmas gift from my other half [...]
