1/48 scale kit by Hasegawa
I finished the kit of the reconnaissance type Draken.
The kit was originally very well made, so the modifications were minimal.
The paint is weathered and faded to give the overall impression of use.
Calling this one FINI!
Nice little kit which I built completely OOB. I've always liked Leroy Grumman's 'Hot Rod' as it was called in Grumman Corp. Circles.
The kit as it comes OOB, is actually a -1b. I wanted to build a real early [...]
AMK's Kfir is a very good kit. It has nicely engraved panel lines and plastic parts are crisply molded. Thus, the fit of parts is very good except for the intakes to fuselage joints. This fault plagues most Mirage type molds of most [...]

For ICM's just released B-26B Marauder. It certainly has a higher parts count than the Monogram kit as it looks like the whole kitchen sink was thrown into the tail detail wise. Individual guns in each side blister? And those [...]
Weathering patterns on Japanese aircraft during operational service occurred as a result of the harsh conditions in the Pacific. However, due to the scarcity of documentations and photographs, the extent and type of weathering is left much [...]

A nice if fiddly in places kit from Airfix dressed up as the Chippie I got a couple of flights in during a Summer Camp at Leeming, many, many years ago.
Primed with Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 Black.
Painted [...]
This is the old Revell 1:48 scale Bf 109 G-10 with wings from Fujimi's 109 series (The more modern issue from the 1990ies). This is my representation of the plane flown by Horst Petzschler.
This is what Horst Petzschler later told about [...]
A very nicely made model with lots of small details and a realistic surface. However, this is a more demanding construction, due to the fact that all parts (even the small ones) are attached to the frame at four and six points. Removing [...]
Here is my Academy 1/48 A-10C Warthog. This represents a jet from the 354th Fighter Squadron “Bulldogs” supporting Operation Inherent Resolve in June 2017. Photo references show that these jets were covered with gun soot from nonstop [...]
This is one of Tamiya's finest kits in my opinion, nary a problem during the build.Looking for something different to do to a corsair, I stumbled upon the "colourized" photo shown. I can't vouch for the accuracy but it started my [...]
