This model is my attempt to paint WWII Italian D2B camo pattern. I like Italian aircrafts of that time, but this camo was a blocker. Of course it should be improved, but I'm not scared anymore.

The impetus for this project was 4 corsairs residing in my stash - 2 Hasegawa's (used here), a Testor kit, and a newer Tamiya. I wanted to keep the Tamiya for a French version that I had purchased decals for, so settled on the 2 [...]
This is the new Hawker Hurricane Mk.I by Airfix. I added a ring and bead gun sight, made out of twist tie wire, as well as the pitot tubes made of the same wire.
I also added Quickboost exhausts, and CMK five spoke wheels

Except for a lot of add-on details in the cockpit (punched instrument faces, reworked ejection seats, sawn-open canopy, it's basically stock. Solid overall detailing, but still before Airfix really hit its stride in the past couple of [...]
Not a lot of major stuff to do, but added seat straps, drop tank plumbing and fin antenna for tail-warning radar. Also made Spitfire-type rear view mirrors for windscreen. Installed wheel doors assymetrically drooped per photos
