Lockheed F-104 Starfighter

Chuck Yeager died today

Just saw the news that Chuck Yeager died today at age 97. Given how deep he was in Alzheimers over the past several years, my personal take is it was a release. He was my childhood hero, and then the first movie job I had (junior assistant [...]

1/32 Scale Italeri F-104 ASA-M Italian Air Force with real aluminum skin

Hi friends, here is the completed F-104 ASA with real aluminum skin. I am so glad to be done with F-104s for awhile! This kit is my second 1/32 Italeri Starfighter and they are a good kit, but I added a lot of scratchbuilt details, [...]

UPDATE - 1/32 Scale Italeri F-104G ASA-M Italian Air Force with real aluminum skin

Well here I am again in aluminum hell! I promised I wouldn't do another metal skin airplane for awhile but I got hired to do another one and I can't say no lol. 90% of the details are completed so it is on to all the metal work. I can tell [...]

1/72 Esci AMT CF-104 Starfighter 421 Red Indian Squadron Canadian Armed Forces

I am a big fan of the Lockheed F-104. My father flew the CF-104 with the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) from 1961 to 1964. This model features a commemorative paint scheme for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) 421 Red Indian Squadron. In [...]

Well I have started my second F-104 in less than a month! I was commissioned to do this kit for an Italian test pilot that flew this F-104, so here I go again! Cockpit and engine complete, now onto the hard part...the aluminum skin 🙁 I [...]

Hello stranded at home modelers! This is something I've wanted to do once in my life and because of this virus I decided to dive in! This is a F-104 with all individual panels made from real aluminum, not that bare metal c**p. I have [...]

Italeri 1/32 F104C Starfighter

This is my take on the Italeri F104C as it may have looked while operating out of Udorn, Thailand circa 1967. I did add a resin cockpit and seat plus resin afterburner/exhaust . Kit decals were used and they were excellent.

Hasegawa 1/48 F-104C Starfighter USAF

Hello!, This is my newest project, a cold war icon. It really brings speed to one's mind just to look at her. Nice kit, decals ok, one or two almost were ruined when leaving the film. Another one I did it myself, with some Tamiya extra [...]

1/72 Esci/AMT USAF F-104 Drone

The 1/72 Esci F-104 kits were re-boxed by AMT. The kits are pretty nice with extra fine recessed panel lines and the option to build the short tail A or C version or the more common long tail version used by most countries except the US [...]

1/48 Lockheed F-104A

This is the Hasegawa F-104C backdated to a Tennessee Air National Guard “A” model from the early 1960s. This is one of those planes I’ve always wanted to model but couldn’t get proper decals. IPMS USA came to the rescue this [...]
