1/48 Lindberg Goose
I can never get enough seaplanes and amphibs ! As old and as crude as this kit is, it still builds up into a fair looking model. Being a lindberg, the price is right, even if the detailing is not. There’s no interior to speak of, but you really can’t see it anyway. The stock engines look more like engines than wheels, so I blanked off the back of them so you weren’t peering into the nacelle, and used them. The fit was typical era-bound Lindberg, along with the rivet detail, but how often do you get to do a U.S. Army amphibian. Another bright spot on the shelf, and a fun build !

Joe,
Old or crude you have made this into a good looking. “Goose”. I like the scheme. Sometimes simplicity is the best.

“Honkin” good” blast from the past Joe (please excuse that lame pun :)) I just love those old classics!

Nice job and paint scheme, Joe. Always favorites of mine, both “amphibs” and flying boats, I have a lot of them in my stash to build.
