Tamiya 1/48 Focke-Wulf FW-190F-8

Finished this one up this a.m. Painted with acrylics, as well.Excuse the spurious smoke rings, I claim artistic license and fun.

Some things I added were:

PE seat harness.
Drilled out the cowling guns.
Replaced wing cannons with blunt-tipped syringe needles.
Added gun camera lens and wingtip nav lights from PVA glue.
"Invisible Thread" antennae wires.
Added brake lines from small gauge wire.
Replaced pitot tube with Albion Alloys tubing.
The bomb is from the bottom of the spares drawer.
Oleo struts covered with Bare Metal Foil.

  7. years ago I built this commission custom for client.black 10.
    It is interesting in this group Luftwaffe 190F that are painted in fighter
    RLM 74&75 gray uper lover in RLM76 blue then at airfield paint a
    plotted freckles blotches of RLM79 Brown .
    The bomb under the hull is U:S bomb? It is a picure confirmation?
    im aware of any image.
    Otherwise, pure clean build.

  14. The extra detailing work paid off James, that is one nice looking 190 (and I don't even particularly like the aircraft). Great paintwork too.
