Thank you everyone for the comments. As far as the canopy goes, I tried my hand at using thin strips of Tamiya tape painted in a buff desert yellow color and ran it along the edge.
Ahh - interesting technique for the canopy! I don't know that I could pull that off in 1/72, but looks like it works well here. Another great looking build and finish.
