Academy 1/48 T-33A Shooting Star
So once in a while I’ll do a jet or two depending on my interest. This kit is pretty much OOB, with the exception that I added some True Detail seats and wheels. The kit decals represent the 67th FBS, 18th FBW, Osan, Korea, 1953. Paint was Tamiya bright aluminum with silver leaf from rattle cans. Nice little kit and I had no problems with the over all fit or detail.

Greta work, Tom! I have the same kit in the stash, and plan on building it as a Navy TV-2 drone controller/utility jet. Anything to watch out for during construction?

I built this several years ago and don’t remember any issues Drew. Pretty straight forward build no issues or fit problems that I recall.

When I grew up in Denver during the 50s…you could drive by the flight line at Lowery AF base in Aurora and see a lot of these lined up….always one of my favorite aircraft. Nice model Tom.
