Tamiya 1/48 Brewster Buffalo 339-23 A51-13 RAAF Dunreath Western Australia 1942
Flown by Ft Lt John Bailey.
I had all kinds of issues deciding what colours would be applicable. Same old story, ask 100 historians and get 110 different answers. I settled on Olive drab over a local mixture of dark green/foilage which they had in stock in Western Australia. Underneath Beijing grey from the US.
I have repainted it from an older olive green/RAF green which looked awful. So glad I did.
And finished up the pics with my herd of 3 Buffalos. I still want to do a US and a Dutch one. Lol.
But this adds to my growing RAAF collection. Enjoy folks.

Good job on a pretty ugly air plane. I believe the Fin's are the only ones that had some success with this air craft.

Nice & scruffy Paul. Just the right touch with the weathering. There's something very appealing about the Buffalo & I especially like the Finnish bird in your line-up. The Finns certainly turned a duck into an eagle!
