Eduard 1/48 Bf 108
Finished this (Whoops- forgot to do the exhaust stains! π ) just before the Emil, but missed taking pics. I really wondered about the “Taifun” logo being present on top of the camouflage, but found a photo (hopefully not re-touched) that backed this and all other markings up. Not Eduard’s best fitting kit. Thanks for looking!

Well – despite any “fit issues” encountered, it sure turned out nicely. I like it.

Stan, this turned out really nice, the cockpit looks really nice and all that plexi opens it up nicely for viewing. What is that tank in the back seat, extra fuel or beer ????

Yes this is a nice build and the camo is well done, the tank would have to have beer to entice me into that plane

Nice work Stan! A great little plane the Taifun. It came up well – nice scheme and weathering – it looks as though you overcame the fit issues! Thanks Dave

Years ago I watched several of these planes at various airshows. If you look close you can see parts of the 109 showing up in this one. The shape of the tail surfaces mainly. There was also one stored under a carport with the wings removed from it at a local farm until about 15 years ago…………… I used to drive by it on occasion…………..
These are neat little planes. Yours captured the look rather well. Nice job all around. I like it π π π

Great looking build and finish. Just this week I picked up an old 1/72 Taifun from an estate who donated a stash to our club. I’m searching for schemes, but really like what you did with yours so might mimic it!
