F-4B Phantom II, VF-111 Sundowners, Eduard (Academy) 1/48
Another of my collections is this model from Eduard.
Thanks to the extensive range of accessories included in the box, I did not even care.
The construction was quiet, only suction channels needed to go dry enough.
I had a problem with decals a bit and in some places I can easily see the silver edge of the print.

Much discussion about this kit a couple or three years ago when released. Some modellers swore by it, others at it.
Yours looks really nice.

PS may be thinking about Academy kit, but no matter – yours still looks good. ☺️

Very nicely done Tomas…weathering a ‘dirty’ Phantom is a challenge but you have done that exceptionally well. A fine build indeed.

I agree with Rob…. on all accounts. This one looks great, though (like he said).

With some of these kits there seems to be more stencils than plastic parts. However, from the photos this F4 appears to be a “Goldie Locks”
build. Or a “Grunge” build with just the right amount of soot, oil and hydraulic fluid to make the model play the role of Phantom very well.
Two thumbs up Toma’s. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing your next build.

Looks great, Tomas, especially as I think this kit is more difficult than you make out.

Another beauty! I plan on doing a Sundowners F-4 in 1/72, and I’ll use yours as a reference!

Wow….Terrific work, Tomas. This is an outstanding build in every respect, especially the realistic manner in which you weathered the finish.

Great finish of a very good model kit. I’ve done the plain Academy one myself and got a great deal of pleasure from it.
