Another very smartly turned-out helicopter, Dirk, the colour scheme looks great, and your background really shows off the model very well.

Well done Dirk. What scale is that? If that’s 1/144 I’m super impressed with the paint and detail you’ve done with this model.

Hi Tom,
Thanks for your positive response.
Scale is 1/72. Have a nice weekend.

Great job, Dirk! I wish Xtracolor was still available here in the US!
Dirk Derks said on November 10, 2017
Hello John,
Thanks for your response. Xtra Color, it needs careful handling (thinning) . But the end result is a good layer of extremely strong paint. Still a few distributors in The Netherlands.

Fantastic piece of work. I can easily imagine this chopper cruising over Deception Pass just north of the base–because I live a short distance away from there.

Very nice Dirk. What an excellent model. I liked the added detail.
Dirk Derks said on November 11, 2017
Hello Julian and all other contributors,
Thanks for the positive responses. It is difficult to see, but installed in the rear is a “Extra Long Range”fuel tank, placed on a sliding pallet.
If you look good, you can see the number three on the tank inside the fuselage.
Regards, Dirk / The Netherlands.
