1/48 Tamiya P-47D RB 526th FS, 86th FG Corsica 1944
This one will brighten up your day! Many miles of Tamiya masking tape later and I am not rushing to do another 86th FG P-47 anytime soon...
Ultracast seat and wheels.
Decals are from relatively new decal producer AMDG decals, and they worked extremely well. Give them a go as their decal sheets feature some unusual subjects.
Happy Modelling!
Darren
Absolutely top-notch, sir...love it !
Excellent Jug.
Question: Are all the graphics decals or a mix of paint and decals? Always looking for new decal sheets 🙂
Hi Matt
Decals for the codes, insignia & artwork.
Tail stripes all painted.

Darren - this one is even better than the last ! Absolutely gorgeous, my friend. I can only imagine the fun you had with all that masking !
This one is a real stunner and an eye-catcher !
I've never seen the candy-stripe scheme before - very striking, and you did a bang-up job on it. Very nice!
Wow!
Great mode mate
Wow, yet another cool looking jug. By the way, why are they called "jugs"?
Hi George. My understanding is that when pilots first began to get used to the size of T-Bolts, they started calling then 'Juggernauts' (anyone who has stood next to one will understand why). This was cut short to 'Jug'.
Man, this is nice...
I love what you did with my Dad's plane. Here is one of his old pictures of him out doing a test run up in Corsica. The second pic is Dad standing next to the nose art. He and his pilot remained close friends to Mr. Weisner passed away in the early 2000s. I lost my Dad in 2016.
