Bandai 1/48 AT-ST

February 7, 2018 · in Sci-fi · · 9 · 1.6K

After hearing such great things about these kit, I had to try something out of character. Even though these are 'snap tite' kits, they are premium quality and well engineered =. Plenty of detail. Almost zero filling and sanding. No flash.

It was a nice change of pace to put something interesting together in short order and get right to the painting and displaying. An X-wing fighter is up next.

  1. Not my "thing". but you're right...it sure turned out nice, Dennis. 🙂

  2. I also like these Bandai offerings - very well engineered and great for creating interesting "space" vignettes...just add weathering!

  3. Hi Dennis. It's good to see some stuff out here from a galaxy far, far, away.
Great detail and look forward to seeing your x-wing.

  4. Dennis, well done! I especially like the pictures where you used a forest background. It looks like in the movie! Bravo!

  5. The Force is with you. Great job!

  6. So cool. Really enjoy Star Wars models. I wish there were more of them out there. One question, "Where's Chewie?"

    • He's in the kit. It would look great showing him chucking one of the Imperials off the side, but a lot of surgery to the figures! I like the restrained weathering on this one. just enough to keep it interesting!

  7. Nice job as always, Dennis. I’m glad I turned you on to these kits, ?.
