Germany’s best on battlefront
On a break! Decided since I posted Germany’s most feared tank I should post Germany’s best tank of WW2.
This is my example of the Panther IV tank.
Any suggestions or comments are gladly accepted.

Good work….perhaps you could experiment with some weathering powders (or pastels) to ‘tone down’ the “shininess” of the finish – just an observation. 🙂

Hi
The stuff I am posting are some of my early attempts. Like around 7 years ago. Have learn a bit since then. One thing is do not spray your masterpiece with clear lacquer even if its suppose to be matte finish and not shine. Big mistake, it makes it shine even if you try to dampen down with weathering powder. Spread the word do not use!
Anyway since then have picked up a few pointers on weathering, chipping and some dos and don’ts. Right now working on 3 ships we’ll see how these will turn out and I shall be posting them. In the meantime I shall be posting some more of my earlier stuff. I do welcome any and all insights, questions and comments. Thanks Rick
