A nice little model with few issues. More or less OOB apart from Eduard Brassin replacement wheels, etch seatbelts and Aeromaster decals.

Nice work! The colors look especially good.
Nice looking model, like the idea to make an "E1" version out of this kit. I have the same on my workbench, with no major problems during the build so far. Good job!
Ok David - stop teasing! Need more pics of the finished warbird! That's a good looking 109.
I think the 65/70/71 splinter suited the 109 well. Sorry I only have camera phone photos!
