Airfix Me262B
Here are a few photos of the new Airfix Me262B in 1:72 which I built for Airfix Model World recently. This is a lovely little kit which as you can see, builds up into a pretty great looking 262. This was out-the-box save for some Eduard seatbelts and uses Eagle Cals decals for Red 10. Hope you like the photos!

I agree, it’s a lovely model, the mottling is very fine and precise for such a small scale. Thanks for sharing Alan!

Fantastic mottling. I haven’t managed that soft-edged effect on any of my mottling jobs. Well done. Bought myself a better airbrush recently but it’s so far untried. Maybe that’s the answer.

I like every single thing about this; the base, build, painting, photography, and the subject is one of my favourite aircraft. I’ll have to buy the damned magazine now…

Great Schwalbe, Alan! It looks larger than 1/72nd. I thought it was AT LEAST 1/48th. But NO! Great mottled camo, too.
