Scratch built type 23 Royal Navy frigate HMS Richmond

I built this about 4 years ago for the Captain of the said ship. He said he wanted it bigger than the Type 22 I made him previously. I built it from photos he had given me (about 100). The model is made from pine and ply. He invited me on board the ship and showed me where he was going to place it, with a nice cup of tea.
