RB 51 ‘Red Baron’ Fisher Model and Pattern, 1/32 scale COMPLETED
This article is part of a series:
As I said in the previous post, this was one of those builds that will go down as one of the toughest builds that I have ever done, although I must say that I am pretty pleased with the end result. I hope you guy’s approve…
We have our IPMS Cape Town Model of the year competition tomorrow, so I have added some pictures of the aircraft I will be taking through tomorrow.
Let me know what you think.
I will be starting my next scratch build project next week, … A 1/32 Scale Mirage F1, South African Airforce.
I will post build progress pictures if you guy’s are interested.
Cheers
Marc

Marc,
This is one fantastic plane !!! (as are the others you posted) …………… and I can’t get over just how shiny and polished the finish is. It has a mirror like consistency throughout. I hope to see this one again in the top picks for model of the month……………. 🙂
When a model fights you stubbornly, and you continue on despite the problems to eventually finish it, the satisfaction of knowing that you “Won” and “didn’t give in” is the best feeling you can get upon it’s completion.
Judging by the pictures of the other entries you are bringing to the show, I’ll bet you come home with an award…………….. or three. They are all masterpieces in their own right.
By all means, please post up some progress pictures of your next project.

The 20 somethings would say that this build is really “Sick” and a “Monster”. By building Paul Fisher’s models Marc, your showing not only your gifts and talents but, your giving Paul some good press too. I hope he can get back on his feet and your collective efforts will bring home some gold.
Two thumbs up on this one.

An amazing triptych. As good a set as ever I’ve seen, they look made to be together.
‘Liked’ x 100 if I could.
Good luck – though in my mind you are very much a winner already.
