A-4 air show photo op attraction.

May 15, 2019 · in Aviation · · 16 · 1.5K

What to do with a spare fuselage from the Hasa. TA-4/ kit. Make it into a trailered airshow attraction, I got the idea after seeing an F-4 set up in a similar way at an airshow. I shortened the trailer from Airfix's tank transporter kit and added wood planking to the bed.

Very good use of the IMAGINATION and CREATIVITY. Many people would have just trashed it.
A small aviation grave yard diorama comes too mind.

  4. Great idea, I'm going to pinch it at some point !.

  5. That's a great idea. Love the vintage Matchbox Jeep as well.

  6. I'm with Neil on this, going to steal this idea! One of the local CAF Wings has an L-9 set up on a low trailer they bring out for Airshows. A real kid magnet!

    Great job!

  7. As others have said, this a brilliant use of spares, etc..

...and the modeling itself is excellent.

  12. Beautiful work, Robert.

There was a guy, a million years ago, at an IPMS convention, that a similar idea in 1:1. The aircraft must have been an F-4, because one side was Blue Angels, the other, Thunderbird's. Had two helmets painted accordingly. You could have your picture taken from either side. Quite a gimmick.

  13. What a great idea Robert. I like it a lot.

  14. I'm with the rest - this is a GREAT idea!
