1/48 ProModeler A-26B Invader
This is 1/48 Promodeler A-26B Invader with TuAF markings circa 1950
The kit has old style raised details. I have built this OOB except for the Eduard cockpit set
Painting done with Alclad lacquers.
National insignias on the wings and flag on the tail are painted by masking.
Fuselage national insignias, numbers, star and crescent on the tail are decals.
Happy Modelling

Excellent! Now, tell me again, what's wrong with the Monogram kit? Looks every bit an Invader!

I am with you on that Bowman, It sure do, though there is a shape issue on the fuselage that really is not a deal killer, There is no perfect kit, I am sure there will be one that will say otherwise. Regardless I have built it and have 2 more. It's your choice. Don't let the negative waves of haters keep you from building it. As you can this fine example builds up to an excellent Invader. ICM is supposedly to release a new mold A/B-26 sometime this year.

Once again Tolga an excellent piece. Taking another Monogram kit and showing us how good they can be when you just build it with some extra care. Already with nice details provided in the kit, enhancing the cockpit and IP just pops. And extra special, in bare metal finish, well done!

Superb looking Invader. One of the best Monogram A-26 builds I've ever seen. Having built two of these, I agree, with a bit of care and lots of patience, they can be turned into a very fine representation of a B or C as you have demonstrated here.
I am looking forward to see what ICM comes up with as it would be nice to have a new tool 1:48 Invader kit that is up today's standards.

If it’s anything like the Heinkel He-111 series they released a few years ago, it will be a beautiful plane. ICM hit a home run with that one.

Good work Tolga, forget about the raised details, this Invader looks just great and the markings really do set her apart.

Lovely work Tolga, Cockpit and interior work looks fantastic. I like the shades of aluminium you've added on the wings too. Must be big in 1/48.
