Shipwreck 1/350
Hello everyone,
while browsing I came across a photo of the wreck of SS City of Adelaide, and instantly I knew I had to give it a go. The build was rather fast by my standards, as I was more interested in trying new things like resin for the sea and making copper wire trees. A very old Revell kit served as the wreck after a make over with my Dremmel. All weathering was done with oils. I think I overdid the leaves on the trees but all in all it’s quite an eye-catching model.
Hope you like it!

Excellent! I don’t think the trees are overdone at all. They look great. Very nicely done.

A wonderful piece of work, Nikos. I think the imagination and creativity skills are exceptional here and I admire you for taking on something that is outside the comfort zone.
Quite brilliant.

A great work, Nikos!
This diorama is not only realistic, but provokes various imaginations about stories behind the scene, like a book.

Well done! – the clean and crisp base and the choice of colours make this one able to be on display in every living room and a great subject for conversation.
