Albatros D III 1:32 Roden in camo of Lothar Von Richthofen

This is a period that I am very interested in WWI airplane. This is a Roden kit, 1/32, of albatros D III whit the camouflage of Lothar von Richthofen, son of Manfred. It’s a good kit, but not at a level of Wingnutwings.
The work table and the ladder are built with wooden slats, the figure is a blackdog mechanic, other details in resin.

Dear friends, I am now in the centre of the plague. Me and my dear colleagues are fighting hard. We are not afraid of work, but the scarcity of resources in relation to the number of patients forces us to make painful choices. Whichever country you are, take advantage of Italy experiences and don’t make our mistakes. #iorestoacasa (I stay at home) and at the end we will win

  1. Nicely done Carlo and my prayers go out to you and your colleagues.

  2. Buona fortuna Carlo! Seems that Italy is currently at its worst since the first diagnosed patient. Hope things don’t get that bad here at the most western part of Europe.

  3. This is an excellent work Carlo!
Here in Greece we also start to face some consequences. It looks that some extra precautions, based on your experience, are taken. Let’s all hope for the best. Keep up the good work.
    All the best!

  4. Beautiful wood work on this build. Prayers as you weather the storm.

  5. Carlo: Lothat was Manfred’s younger brother. Beautiful model and figure.

Best thoughts and wishes and hopes to you and yours.

  6. Great work, Carlo. That’s a tricky kit to get everything stuffed into the fuselage properly.

  7. Hello my friend !!! @carlofar206
This is an amazing build……………. It looks so realistic. The way the wood looks is outstanding and very lifelike.

I will keep you, your family, and your fellow countrymen in our thoughts and prayers. Stay safe…………… In time this too will get better.
