May 21, 2020 · in Aviation · · 23 Comments

My recently completed Tiffy built to represent an aircraft flown by Wing Commander Charles Green operating out of B.5 Advanced Landing Ground in Normandy, June 1944.
The aircraft is loaded with a mixed bag of fragmentation and 60lb HE heads that were sometimes carried.

  1. The detail in that engine!

  2. Beautiful work, all that you can expect in a big size model you deliver... abundant details, solid paint work and precise weathering. Wish I had a new room to build me one of those

  3. That's a stunning result, Mark. Congratulations!

  4. Incredible detail. Must have taken you a lot of hours to enjoy.

  5. Really, Really Nice! She looks like one could jump in and crank it up.

  6. Love the weathering - especially on the rockets. Looks great!

  7. Amazing result. You definitely made more than the most out of the opportunity this kit gave you. I'm not usually a fan of "opened up," but I've just declared an exception with this. Love it.

  8. Incredible.
How many hours do you have in it?

  9. Thanks Bryan.
I don't know how many hours I spent on the model, but I worked on it on and off over about 6 months I guess.

  10. What can I say Mark, a Masterpiece, Fantastic job.
