Picture Frame Diorama – Loading Bay

August 31, 2020 · in Diorama · · 18 · 1.8K

First things, first. I'd like to thank Andreas Rousounelis for inspiring me with his many awesome Picture frame dioramas. He is a master with these kinds of dioramas.

Giving this is my first try, I decided to go with another loading bay theme for trucks. It was the simplest idea, since I like trucks, and had built a similar scene before. The scale is using scratch built materials.

  1. Great one, even the concept as a picture frame, just great!

  2. Amazing result, Charles!
    Cannot look more real.

  3. Mr C, this might actually be the best and coolest model I ever seen from your workshop. Ever! Really good execution in getting all details right. Just love it.

  4. Man that is cool! Nice work!

  5. I like your trick of taking photos of a real loading bay and photoshopping into a picture frame...wait, what?!

  6. You sure fooled this old fool, Thought it twas a real loading dock. Long live the King! Speaking of loading docks..' My Daddy was maback... He worked at a loading dock and said ma back when the trucks came in' A 'joke'from an old lifer back in my navy days. '

  7. Modelers that can do this kind of work certainly have my respect. It takes a special skill-set to create something that mimics the real thing so well. Great job, Charles (@tiking).

  8. πŸ™‚ ... Greetings ... πŸ™‚ :
A very amusing subject , one that for sure is a big diversion of the normal models.
Me as a viewer am very much amused at every small detail, ( I still am watching ) this is really a fine work Charles.
Every detail is so well done, your attention for details can even be seen in the backward signs for any trucker can view them correctly in their rear view mirror.
Thank you for sharing these images.

  9. Well done, Charles!
