The lighthouse and the giant
The old kit of Tamiya with photoetched Blue Star Admiral (Voyager) BSE-70003, main and secondary Guns Aber, oerlikon 20 mmm White Ensign Models, rigging Unicaenis, chains cooper wire. Lighthouse Scrachtbuild, Cliff: Styrofoam. Paints: Humbrol.
Extensive construction work on the old Tamiya kit. I have made several improvements. The masts have been made of wire. The support vessel is made of scracht and also one of the small boats. The lighthouse is also made in scracht, taking a real one as a reference.

Really nice, Manuel (@kometa). Even in 1/700, your model gives us the sense of the size of this ship. Well done.

Nice diorama, love the details.
Captain of the ship would probably be shot for anchoring so close to the rocks, though...

To avoid this, the ship has a mooring aft. I have previously consulted some technical notes in navy documents.

That’s a great looking Missouri. I love seeing 1/700 ships done to such a high standard.
