I remember the original Airfix 1/72 Beaufighter, must have been back in the 1950s, this is in another world, Allan, definitely liked.

Thanks George, you’re right about that !!

Nice and clean finish on this Beaufighter, Allan. @kalamazoo
How did you create that spinning effect, using a fan?
Allan J Withers said on February 1, 2021
Thanks John, yes, works well if the prop’s spin free.

Very nice Beau, Allan!
I had the pleasure to follow your WiP.
P.S. I also loved the props turning pic!

Well done Allan. The spinning props really make it. I didn’t realize this Airfix Beau is a relatively new tool.
Allan J Withers said on February 1, 2021
Thanks Eric.

Nice to see the completed build Allan, looks amazing.
And who needs Photo-Shop when all you need is a fan and props that spin?
Allan J Withers said on February 1, 2021
Thank you George, not me.

Nicely done! A friend just gave me his partially built kit, but it’s a bit warped. I’m trying to decide whether or not to put the elbow grease into it to finish it, as I’m not sure I can “unwarp” it!
Allan J Withers said on February 3, 2021
Thanks Greg, a tough decision !!
