Another Fokker rolls off the production line.
Covid lockdown completed 1/48 Dragon Fokker Dvii F flown by VzFw Wilhem Hippert, Jasta 73 1918. Fun easy build with very little rigging (undercarriage only) An old kit started 20 odd years ago. Nice to see it completed finally.

Beautiful build and exceptional scheme, Paul @paulwoodyvanacker
Anthony Fokker was really able to create such nice aircraft.
Love to see your production line reproducing them.

Excellent result, Paul!
Glad to hear the Dragon kit builds solidly: I have the same kit to build, was kind of worried due to the belief that some Dragon kits are fiddly to put together.

Thank you. The only part I'd change would be the photo etch landing gear struts. I thickened mine with liquid putty.
But I'd build another anyday. Same as Roden kits. I've done a BE-2 and found it to be a great build. None of the apparent issues people say come with the brand.

Nice job, Paul. I'll bet that one stands out in the display.

Thank you. It brightens up things a bit. Lol. I love the German paint jobs.

Nice work, Paul. Those stainless steel PE struts are difficult to remove from the fret.

Thank you. Yes, I needed a big pair of scissors to cut some parts. Old technology, but still a good kit. 😊

Nicely done! That IS a mind-bending scheme, with the checkerboard and lozenge combined. I need to be careful how quickly I attempt to stand up after staring at it for a few minutes!

Nice work and a great result. Where did you get decals for Mimmi? I had to really scrounge to come up with a way to do her.

Thanks mate. I finally located one from the US on ebay. It came with a roden Dvii kit too, so that was good to get another for later. Cost me AU $125 with delivery but it was worth it.
Still have 4 more Dviis actually. The other 3 are eduards... so many colour schemes. Lol.
