Another Tolga masterpiece!
A truly superb build!
Thank you Spiros
Speechless result, Tolga @tolgaul
Painting, weathering everything looks great.
Thank you John
Everything is great - a typical Tolga Masterpiece!
Thanks Tom
Great model! What shade of Sand Paint did you use?
Thanks Lis
Sand color is a mix of different paints.
I do not remember the ratio but the colors used are XF15, XF57, white and some drops of red.
Beautyous! Love the plane and it's colors.
Thanks Bill
The build is a masterpiece as usual, but given the scheme, I think your photography and choice of background colors is a clever use of color. Thanks for sharing! ?
Thank you Andrew
Good to see a P-40 with out the sharks mouth, the Curtiss fighter fought on many fronts and with several air forces in many theaters. The cowling lends its self to some good art work too. I always like your palette Tolga.
You've adjusted it to one, meet the needs of the camera, two it looks good in natural light. The fading of paint is what the 1 to 1 aircraft looks like on the tarmac. Three, the dirt and grime doesn't distract from the build and is relevant to the build and shows wear and tear.
What a Holiday treat and worthy of taking the time to not look at a build but, see it and all of its details.
Two thumbs up.
Thanks a lot Stephen
Very nice, Tolga. Excellent paintwork.
Thanks a lot John
One fine looking P-40! Well done.
Thank you Robert
Wow, this is a beautifully done model kit. Your P-40 looks great! It also looks very real to my eyes.
Thanks Bob
A real inspiration! I'm working on two P-40's now - an N and a K - and love this! Paint palette is fantastic as always.
