1/48 Eduard MiG-21PF

January 3, 2022 · in Aviation · · 10 · 1.3K

A kit that's now a few years old but still a favourite. This is the Weekend Edition of the 1/48th MiG-21PF. It's a very nice kit with a few more variants in the collection to eventually be done. Not much to say about it except that it was an enjoyable build. The only extras were the short lived Eduard fabric seat belts. Gunze paints for the East German colours.

  3. That's a good looking build. I don't do modern jets, but again am impressed at how nice an Eduard kit looks build up. I have never built an Eduard kit, I really think I need to. I really like your paint scheme and the cockpit looks incredible.

  4. Fantastic looking MiG, Michael @mickdrover
A not so often seen scheme, but it looks great on this aircraft.
    Well done.

  5. Nice work, Michael. The Mig-21 is my favorite jet.

  6. Looks great! I like the 21 for all the livery it wore around the globe. Need to build a few more of them, as they sure add a lot of color to the cabinet!

  10. Who doesn’t love the MiG 21, especially when it’s as nice as this one. I must get one of these kits.
