Karaya DH-5 1:48

January 2, 2022 · in Aviation · · 9 · 1.3K

It has been ages but I thought I would post another one of my older builds. This kit is entirely made of resin with some photoetch and it is superbly cast and went together really well. did a great job with the interplane struts with each resin strut being reinforced with stiff wire. The markings were printed on an ALPS printer for a 2SQN Australian Flying Corps aircraft. A rare subject featuring a reverse stagger to the wings.

  2. Neat work on a seldom seen model. I have a bit of a reverse stagger myself these days.

  3. This is really a great build, Paul @carpo
    Looks amazingly detailed in resin.

  4. I love this plane, Paul! Well done!

  5. An amazing build, Paul! You tackled this resin kit extremely well!

  6. Nicely done. That very rakish top wing almost looks like it'll fly off in flight! Interesting design.

  7. Beautiful model! Karaya models are just great.

  8. Very nicely built, I like it. I made this model from the company Fenix and it was not exactly a simple and pleasant construction.
